There was an article posted on Aerospace Technology which talks about how Spirit Aeronautics and Global Aerospace Design have worked together in order to solve a problem for many of the Boeing 737 operators. The two are working together in order to provide a Supplemental Type Certificate (also known as an STC) for Boeing company operators of both business and commercial sectors.
This STC will mandate ADS-B requirements which is surveillance technology typically dealing with space.
