CACI Wins $32M Contract to Supply Electro-Optic Sensor Support to Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division

Information Technology Company CACI has won a $32 million contract to supply electro-optic sensor support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center’s (NSWC) Crane Division.

The contract is a five-year deal which has one base year, plus two one-year options and two award term years. It will hold CACI responsible for engineering and technical services, such as testing, evaluation, and logistics for sensors used in airborne, maritime aircrafts, and ground platforms. The order was issued under the SeaPort-e vehicle.

Officials at CACI were grateful for the contract, as they believe it was a reward for their experience and knowledge on the subject.

"Backed by our decades of experience supporting acquisition and logistics for key Navy programs, CACI offers the deep understanding and domain expertise needed to ensure that Navy sensors and related systems have been properly tested and are ready for deployment both at sea and ashore,"
said CACI US Operations CEO and President John Mengucci.

CACI has worked with SeaPort-e for over 13 years now, providing support for a large spectrum on integrated warfare systems. SeaPort-e is the electronic platform the Navy uses for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas.

CACI President and CEO Ken Asbury added,

"This contract supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division, one of dozens of task orders CACI has won on the SeaPort-e vehicle, further strengthens our position as a prime provider of logistics support on large Department of Defense programs, and enables us to continue maximizing defense readiness and combat sustainability for the Navy."
